Mentoring

If you’re a writer and want some feedback on your work in progress and help with editing your draft or brainstorming plot ideas, I can offer you one-to-one support. I offer mentoring on the following genres: Contemporary, commercial and Bookclub fiction, Mystery, Thrillers and Crime.

I am an experienced creative writing mentor and coach and was awarded an MA in Creative Writing (Distinction) in 2021 from Royal Holloway, University of London.

I also help to write and review cover letters and submissions to literary agents, using the techniques I successfully used to target jobs as a career coach and which helped me get full requests from every literary agent I submitted my novel to. My agent is Juliet Mushens of Mushens Entertainment who is currently the number one dealmaker in the UK and who sold my debut novel at a multi-publisher auction.

I have 20 years of experience as a resilience coach and help writers to manage their time to stay on track with their writing goals and develop the mental toughness that you need to complete a project like a novel and stay focussed despite the inevitable rejection and setbacks on the road to publication.

If you want to know more about how to work with me, please feel free to get in touch with your questions.

Fees: £795 for 10 hours of mentoring, booked in either 2, 5 or 10 hours blocks.

As a debut author, I understand how lonely it is to write your first novel and how much it helps to get honest constructive feedback from a trusted source, and I love working with writers.
